    Educational Psychology & Parent Coaching

    Hello Everyone,
Parents if you feel like you're struggling to connect with your child or help them learn in the best way possible you may want to contact Joy Wyckoff. I met this lovely lady at church and she is a wealth of knowledge in this area. I've posted her bio below. You can contact her via email jwyckoff@yahoo.com or her phone is 704-941-5191.

JOY WYCKOFF is a wife and mother of two grown sons. She holds a B.A. in vocal performance from Clarks Summit University of PA (formerly known as Baptist Bible College of PA), an MM in Music Education form Ithaca College (NY), an MEd from Miami University (OH), specializing in Gifted Education, along with an EdS in Gifted Education from Nova Southeastern University (FL). With more than ten years of experience as both a music teacher and a classroom teacher, she developed a private practice in educational therapy to address the learning needs of students with difficulties and developmental delays. Time spent teaching in both private and public school settings as well as home schooling have enriched her experience as a teacher. During her time in Indiana, she served on the Board for the Indiana Association for the Gifted as co-chair of the Parent Network. She has presented workshops about gifted education at conferences, at the university level, as well as for teacher in-services. She is a certified provider of The Listening Program and Interactive Metronome. In 2006, she completed 100 hours of special modules through The Carrick Institute on Childhood Neurological Disorders, taught by Dr. Robert Melillo, founder of Brain Balance Centers. She is also an advocate for natural health solutions and continues to increase her knowledge of natural health through various online summits. In 2012, she completed training as a John Rosemond Parenting Coach. Currently, she and her husband reside in the Fort Mill area.
